Zero Boys - Vicious Circle CD (Toxic Shock 1989)

Now here is a rare one! I love this CD. Its old school punk rock that is catchy as fuck. They appeared on one of the killed by death comps as well. I forget which one. I am hard up for money and ended up selling my copy for $28 on ebay. Not too bad when I started it at 99 cents. Like I said the CD copy is really hard to find and only comes up for sale once in a while. Anyways I decided to upload this for the people who cant afford the 28-30 bucks this CD usually goes for.

PRESSING INFO: 23 tracks on Toxic Shock Records. The LP is not that hard to find. But the LP version only has I believe 18 or 20 tracks. This CD however is a different story

V/A - Living in Fear CD (Ransom Note Recordings 1996)

V/A - Living In Fear CD (Ransom Note Recordings 1996)

I usually remember where I got all my CD's and records. And how much I paid for them. But this one escapes me completely. All I know is that I bought it because I love comps. This one seems to be hard to find, which I don't understand because there is a good amount of popular bands. At least around 1996. The best songs are the queers, capitalist casualties, and rhythm collision. Overall a really good comp if you can find it.

PRESSING INFO : Released in 1996 on Ransom Note Recordings. 20 total tracks. This particular one is a promo release because there is a hole punched through the bar code. There is no distinction other than that between a promo and a stock release.

TRACK LISTING:
read the back cover above.

V/A - Rock Against Floyd CD (Fat Wreck Chords 2005)

V/A - Rock Against Floyd (Fat Wreck Chords 2005)

If you know me, I have a huge collection of free samplers from all over the world. And since they were handed out free, and most were tossed in the trash, I have no problem uploading some of these. I have discovered a lot of great bands because of comps and free samplers. I feel the comp is almost dead and it makes me really sad to think about it. Anyways this was handed out to support the fat tour in 2005. 11 tracks. The best songs are by against me!, the epoxies and the real mckenzies.

PRESSING INFO: Handed out to support the Fat Tour 2005 with Against me, epoxies, smoke or fire and the soviettes. Probably around 3000-5000 pressed.

Buglite - Love and Other Sorrows CD (Onefoot Records)

Buglite - Love and Other Sorrows CD (Onefoot Records)

The first time I got introduced to this band was a few comps that I had. Then I ended up buying their split 7" with the Bouncing Souls. They also have a split with dustbunny, a 7" on mutant pop records and there is another split 7" which seems to slip my mind. I got this at City Lights Records in State College PA. It was in the 5 for $10 bin so I couldn't pass it up. I am a big fan of stuff on onefoot records. Its a really good CD and I think you should download it! Its pop punk, duh.

PRESSING INFO: Released on Onefoot records. Not sure how many were pressed but it seems to be pretty hard to find.

TRACK LISTING:
1. the grand chaunky
2. woodchuck
3. myself
4. leaves
5. watch
6. anymore
7. once again
8. glance
9. just a dream

Fluxskapacitor - Self Titled CD (1996)

I never got to see this band live or anything of that sort. In fact I bought a big lot of used CD's off ebay in order to get a lanemeyer CD and a few comps and this came along with it. It's pretty good. I wouldn't rate it up there with the best ska around, but its still worth a listen!

TRACK LISTING:
1. Pete The Hook Handed Skanker
2. Toys are Us
3. Big Guys are Cool
