Here is a band that I believe is over looked as far as early to mid 90's pop punk bands go. While Relativity has a lot of well known releases, this one must of tanked as far as sales go. And its unfortunate. Heavy power pop/ pop punk from Milwaukee, 1991-1997.

Rev. Norb (Boris The Sprinkler) did the artwork for this release.

This was also released on vinyl and cassette.

I slack, I Know. It's summer and that means being outside.

I bought this record at the Philly Record Exchange in Philly. I think I did. I paid $1.00 for it I know that. Its got some pop punk, punk and some ska. There were 2 pressings that totaled 1000 copies. All on black vinyl. I don't believe there is any difference in the pressings.

V/A - 2003 Teenbeat Sampler CD

Some of you might be wondering where in the hell I have gone. The answer is simple. Nowhere. I have tried uploading this album a couple of times and it seems to take forever. Almost 3 hours! Maybe my internet just sucks. Fuck it.

I got this release about a year ago when I purchased a large CD lot (about 150 CD's) off of the Knock Knock Records pop punk board. It was mostly pop punk and I was hesitant to give this a listen.

And for some reason, I found it really good. In an odd "I have to listen to this while driving RT 15 at night" sorta way. Its mostly indie / electronic stuff. Is there a term to describe this type of music? Probably. I just havent figured it out yet.

Released on Teenbeat Records in 2003. The catalog # is 341. It's a little different than most of my other entries, but I hope you give it a listen.

Why does it take me so long to update this blog? I have a lame excuse this time. Since I'm still trying to get situated from my move, I had my baseball card collection stashed around my scanner. So yea. I'm lazy.

Well here this is to keep you covered for now. A great power pop album with definite nods to Husker Du. If you like melody, give this album a listen. I bought this about a year ago off the Knock Knock Records pop punk board for I think like $5. Enjoy!

If you couldn't tell by now, I've been on a 5 Cent Deposit kick as of late. And if your getting tired of the 5 Cent Deposit entries, don't worry. This is the last one.

This was their last releases that I know of. I also think they are still around and I wish they would release some more stuff. Maybe a 7"! If you listened to their prior releases, you can tell that there is a lot more "maturity" (god I hate that word) in this release. Its still great, and fast and full of melody. But the lyrics are more serious, and the song writing is better. So check it out!

I'm going on with my 5 Cent Deposit kick in this entry. This is their second album and their first on Radical Records. Radical Records isnt known for their pop punk. But mainly for bands Like Blanks 77 and the like.

Some of these songs were on their first album. But now the sound quality is better and maybe even a little bit faster.
