As much as I want to post some 7" records and the such, alas, the turntable is still broken. But I do not have a shortage of hard to find and out of print CDs to share with everybody.

The unsung zeros are a pop punk band out of Mt. Dora Florida. They did have a following back in the day when they toured with the pop punk scene. A lot of their stuff is still available. This EP has been out of print for years, and isnt all that hard to find. Although you will have to look in order to find it. 5 tracks including a Genesis cover.

PRESSING INFO: Released in 2001 on Distant Rise Records. There website doesnt exist anymore and I couldnt find it in the archives. So I dont know how many were pressed.

First off I would like to say something about this blog and the lack of updates. I have A TON of vinyl records I want to upload. But my record player is busted right now. Thats the main reason for the lack of updates. So for the next couple of days, I will be posting CDs until I get the turntable fixed..

Anyways...No this is not a bootleg copy that I stole off of somebody. I saw this band a couple of years ago at the monroe township building in mechanicsburg. They were pretty good. And this is what they were selling. I think it was $1 or $2. I am not sure. I found their old site on the internet archive, but could not find much about this release or the band. If my mind serves me right, there was 4 people in this band.

I remember hearing that they were playing on the radio live I think in Wilkes Barre back around the time I saw them. If anybody has info on that show please contact me.

PRESSING INFO: UMMMM no idea! I do know that when I bought this, there was different colored sleeves to chose from. Since my favorite color is green, I bought this. This is an official release, and I have no idea how many where pressed.

Here is yet another comp for the ole blog. I picked this up at Crumedgeon Records in NJ when I was there to see Lanemeyer and Jettison. I am always looking for comps so I can be introduced to bands I've never heard before. It was 99 cents and you really can't beat that for 37 bands. There are 7 different labels who put this out. The best songs are from digger, parasites, discount and gutfiddle. And all the stuff from Grand Theft Audio just blows. I'd skip tracks 26-31 but you may like them.

PRESSING INFO: Put out by doctor strange records, hopeless records, shredder, liquid meat, rhetoric records, grand theft audio, and stiff pole records. No idea what year or how many pressed.

V/A - Punk Rock Strike CD (Springman Records 2003)

OK here is a comp I think most of you will enjoy. Mostly pop punk! The label was started by a guy when he was 16 out of his parents garage. The label started to gain a lot of popularity. And for some reason it seems to have died off. When a lot of labels stopped releasing pop punk, about after 2001 or 2002, this label kept doing it. Now a lot of the bands on the label arent very good. Bring back the pop punk! They fucked up the track listing and inserted a piece of paper with the correct track listing. And I don't feel like typing all of the tracks since its pretty easy to read them, but I will type to corrected tracks.

PRESSING INFO: This is still in print. And you can probably get it off of interpunk. Released in 2003 on Springman records. Probably A LOT pressed.

I saw this band at the sorely missed Why're in New Cumberland PA. It was a metal show and this band was the only good band on the show. I think I paid something around $2 or $3 for this. It only has 3 songs, but there is no shortage on blast beats and brutal metal. I did a front flip and landed on my back during their set. Which I used to do that all the time. I felt it in the morning.

PRESSING INFO: This was released on Too Damn Hype Records in 2003. They made a bunch of shows. And I think for mailorder. But as far as how many, Im guessing about 100-200.

Here is another album that does not really fit into the stuff I usually listen to. But this is addicting. Its pop rock but not the mainstream type. Its catchy, and its fun! I would describe it as 60's rock with 90's pop. Very good. The song Erika Smiles is probably the best song on here. Great for rainy nights on the highway...

PRESSING INFO: Released in 1997 on CD on Laundry Room Records. Catalog number is LRR 9606. I am sure there are other releases on this label, but I can't seem to find them. Of course, they might suck. Who knows. Probably about 1000 to 3000 or so pressed. Maybe more.

I am not really a fan of this type of metal. But I know a lot of people are so that is why I chose to put this on my blog. That and the fact it seems to be impossible to find. Slow metalcore that was popular back between 2000 and 2005. This band is out of Philly PA.
