The A's - Self titled album on Arista. 1979
There isn't much to be said about this band. Really great power pop with some punk rock influences. Coming all the way from Philly, PA. Some of the songs are a bit lackluster, but the classics blow them away. Super catchy power pop! They also released another album which is even better and will be uploaded sometime soon. The 12" four dances they released should be avoided unless you are a completist. AND PLEASE, BEFORE YOU JUST IGNORE THIS, LISTEN TO IT! ITS CATCHY AND ADDICTING!
PRESSING INFO: Released on Arista records in 1979. Came with a printed paper inner sleeve. Since this was on a major, it shouldn't be hard to find. But I never see it. Actually I have only seen it in one place, and I bought it there.
